Where is my Ural VIN number located?

    Ural

    Early Ural models
were assigned a 6-digit serial number during production. These numbers were stamped in at least three different areas on the bike:

    1. On a silver data plate that was riveted to the steering head.
    2. On the right downtube below the steering head.
    3. On the left side of the lower frame.

However, for US and other country imports, a 17-digit serial number was required. Often, the importer would create this number and print it on a silver sticker, which was then placed over the original 6-digit serial number on the right downtube.
